The IGM thanks Modi government for Ending Injustice to the Gurjars tribals of JK

8 Sep 21, Kupwara, Jammu Kashmir . International Gujjar mahasaba(IGM) kashmir held An important meeting in kupwara today regarding the recent.visit of President IGM to Kashmir boarder areas regarding the recent govt granting ST Status , Extending 2006 Forest Rights act and SCSt Atrocities act and it’s effect to tribals life and dignity.
The kashmir vice president IGM Chaudhary Abdul Kayam and the representatives of of tribals of Kashmir passed a resolution thanking col Dev anand Gujjar for taking up their case with people of Bharat and government of Modi ji and getting the rights being denied for decades and as also thanked the president IGM for visiting border areas of kshmr and bringing out issues related to lack of development education medical roads and mobile communication. IGM delegation under Col Devanand Gurjar visited kupwada, Panch Gaon, Sadhna pass , karna, Jabdi, Bangas, Bandipura Pahalgam , Anantnag Banihal , Ramban and Jammu.
The meeting was presided over by jk vice president ch Ab Qayoom Chechi . Young social activast ch Mohd Auyob kataria was nominated as state General sectory and Chaudhari samsuddin Katana was nominated as Secretary Jammu and Kashmir.
On this occasion the tribal leaders of IGM raised issue of lack of sensitivity at lower level of governance inspite clear directions of LG and Government on the necessity of passing benefits to the people as per constitutional obligation . They thanked Sh Md Aizaz, DC srinagar and Sh Shahid Iqbal Secy Tribal Affairs Jk for their positive support towards speedy implementation of the acts given by parliament ….
23 Aug Bungus, Kupwara .
As part of awareness campaign in the Border district of Kupwara the national and state leaders of of international Gurjar Mahasabha(IGM) participated in a programme at the famous bungus valley located at 10,000 feet above sea level in far flung area of Kupwada.
Programme was organised under the aegies of Capt Qayoom Gurjar, District President IGM . Chief guest for the event was Col Dev Anand Gurjar National President IGM. Miss Shajiya Gurjar Women President IGM Kashmir , Shri Rafiq Ahmad bhalot, BDC Chairman, Shri Khalid Badhana along with Saifuddin Gurjar state General Secretary International Gurjar Mahasabha were the special guest of honour. The program was attended by more than 500 members of IGM comprising of elderly people women and children.
Col Gurjar while speaking to the people gathered in Bangus valley in huge number thanked the present Central Government and the Governor JK for extending their constitutional right of Scheduled Tribe reservation in complete form, Forest Rights act 2006 and SC ST atrocities act on 31 Oct 2019 .The same was endorsed in one voice by the people gathered around with big round of applause and slogan “Gurjar Ekta jindabad” and “Bharat mata ki Jay”.
He further requested and advised all the tribal people present in the congregation that people of Bharat and central government have granted rights but to ensure the benefit reaches to the last man waiting for the justice we have to educate the masses about the right and necessity of educating our children.
The Kashmir women present president IGM Shazia Gurjar appealed to the community that we all have to come forward to ensure gender justice by giving every girl equal opportunities of education and serving the society .
Jammu and Kashmir state vice president Mr Rafiq Gurjar in view of the bungus Valli getting attention towards becoming a tourist spot appealed to the government that unlike in past the Gujjar Bakarwals who have a right over the land which they have been using since centuries should get the land holding rights and under no circumstances should be disbursed or least to outsiders.
The international Gurjar Mahasabha in its request to the people and government brought issues of Sanction of J & K Border Scout Regiment, granting of official status to Gojri language, Issues of actual line of control certificate to the the people of karna and Uri and ensuring the rights of Gujjar bakarwal.
The program was attended by dignitaries from all across the Jammu Kashmir state. state General Secretary IGM Saifuddin Gurjar, state youth president IGM Imtiaz Katariya, Rafiq Gujjar, samas Bheem Gurjar, Hanif Gurjar were present during the event.
